We're getting technical here, but if the ice doesn't melt, it probably won't have had time to lower the cider temperature... so why use ice? An iced bottle seems like the best way forward

Other for me too.

Obviously coming from the West country I love cider - but can't stand the fizzy sweet stuff they pass off as cider (ie Woodpecker ..yeuchhh). I like Strongbow and a few of the other dry ciders, but my favourite has to be the cloudy still scrumpy we get around here straight from the farm!!! Blow your socks off - but you do suffer the next day!!!!

When I used to be younger, I loved my strong ciders. I took a trip down memory lane about a month ago when we went to a pub/club where the only pints available were come weird cider. Woke up next day sleeping on the floor at a mates place feeling like sh1te, then I remembered why I don't drink cider.

usually italians hate cyder :D
we don't have something similar

for my taste is like to drink "a washed wine bottle"
;)

is better drink a "campari" or analcoholic "sanbitter"

or an "aperitivo della casa" (cocktail made by the barman)

You guys should try Biddenden's it's 10.5 % and in the pub I used to work in was sold by the half because it was too potent. 3 pints and you were off your head.

http://www.biddendenvineyards.com/biddendenciders.html

Looks like they stopped doing that and now have special reserve at 13%

Nutters :)
