I would think the ISOfix would be a bolted on piece, rather than welded on. When I think about it, the car body is painted one colour with the ISOfix typically being gloss black. If I get the time I'll remove my back seat as I felt around my 156 yesterday and I have ISOfix so I'll put up a picture if I can and remember to.

They're hidden deep within the rear seats. Just dull looking hooks. Hard to photograph.

156 are too old for the top tether which is the current standard. Partly why I'm considering selling mine after all these years.

My 156 has the top teather points behind the head rests under little plastic covers, as well as ISOfix. It's a interior facelift version, so that might make a difference. But there were lots of differences between markets among cars specifications so that could also be why.
