An amazing place with huge aspirations.

Well, with it's oil likely to start running out in a decade, you would wouldn't you!

Becoming the blueprint for much of the arab states. A great playground (if you can afford it!!)

With their "money no object" attitude it will most likely turn out to be pretty amazing. Remember this is the place where you have a ski slope complete with snow in the middle of the desert.

You can get Fish, Chips & Mushy Peas with the peas served on a silver platter in some of the seafront Fish restaurants  None of this newpaper common nonsense here don't you know

Building regulations are very imaginative in the Middle East and Dubai has money to spend so I'm sure it will be spectacular.

They might even throw in a Fish & Chips and mushy peas shopie if you're lucky as they like to theme things around each country

Their Oil will last longer than 10 years BTW J and they're not reliant on that for a national income anyway!! ;)
