Hello my Alfa community! I just got my new 1.8 TCT and I'm out here in the Middle East. So whenever I floor it the car just keeps on slipping 1st and 2nd gear! (Traction Gauge on speedometer comes on and off) so I thought i would turn it of, until I realized there I couldn't! So I read it in the owners handbook and it also says it turns on automatically when you turn on the car and cannot disable it!
Is there a simple way to do it myself without going to an alfa tech?

Thank you all in advance

no way to turn off traction control, but you can cotrol howit behaves with the DNA switch.

But try modulating the powerin 1st and second gear, you won't be going any faster without traction control, except through tyres.

Another option is to get better/stickier tyres.
