My check engine light comes on intermittently at the moment (2.0 diesel). The code and message using Multiscan is B0110 Open circuit/short circuit at +V batt intermittent.

Is it likely I'm needing a new battery?

The car works normally except for no stop start and no dynamic mode when the warning light comes on.

look at the big fuses on top of the battery, make sure none have a fault (hairline crack) and inspect the cable towards the alternator.
