Hello everyone,

Since 3 months I have an error code in my MiTo QV error code: C1307-15 (front right shock absorber)
The dashboard tells me to check my suspension. (I have the active suspension)
Sometimes the message goes away for a day and then comes back.

Because of this error I can not in go in dynamic or in all weather mode.
I've been to 2 Alfa specialists and they both read it with the same software and get the same error code.

They suspect that the front right shock absorber is just broken. I myself am afraid that if I just buy a new shock absorber that the malfunction is still there and that it might be a broken cable or the ECU of the dampers that is broken.

Is there anyone who can give me advice or refer me to someone who can help me further??

Thanks in advance,

Greetz,
Dave

Did you just get the specialist to read the codes or did they investigate too?
The wiring connections to the valves are exposed to the elements and not overly water tight. If it's not already been done remove the plug from the valve and give eveything a clean , use some contact cleaner and soft brush to get right into the pins and then reassemble. I put a little silicone grease around the outside seal of mine to make it a bit more water proof and also a cable tie to pull and hold them tight.
