last week the engine warning light came on, on my 2010 1.6 diesel

I checked with an obd, and there was no fault found, so i switched off the warning light.

After around 10 mins, it came back on again.

A couple of days ago, I started the engine and there was no light. The light came back on today.

Any ideas? I have booked it into a stealer next week to have a look

What type of code reader are you using to check the codes? Some of them will not read Alfa specific codes.

i have noticed that it only happens after changing the throttle response.

If i drive in the normal mode and don't change it is fine. But if i switch to all weather or dynamic, then after 10 mins or so (even if i revert back to normal), the warning light comes on

i have also noticed that if i have not changed the response, and it is in normal mode, the light sometimes comes on when setting off at a junction - not all of the time

Does anyone have any ideas?

Did the dealers not find out? 10 days ago you said it was booked in next week so presumably this week just gone. No doubt as usual with intermittent faults it wouldn't perform for them but did they not find a recorded code?

they weren't able to find anything wrong.
And like you said, when it went in, all was ok. They did not mention anything about recorded codes
