There was a post with a picture showing the symbols for all the twin cam engine sizes. Can someone please post it again. Trying to figure out which engine is fitted to a junior. Its an upside down triangle with a dot in the middle.

I don't know what the differences are between Series I & II of 1750 engines are, but S I is euro and II is USA I don't think. My 1750 Spider S2 (Italian (Torino) delivery September 1970) definably have the triangle with the dot in it.
Of course the engine was rebuild in the '90'ties probably by OKB in Munich so probably a mix can have taken place.

If memory serves me the S1 1750 has the engine number stamped on the block under the carbs. S2 is opposite near manifold.

internal differences I have read about, are:

S1 1750's used the late model 1600 cams (105.02.03.200.01) and the piston pins were centred.

S2 1750's used 105.48.03.200.01 cams (as 2.0 litre) + different cam timing. Plus the piston pins were now offset 3° to the inlet side to eliminate piston slap common with the early "centred" pin pistons.......you'll notice the later pistons now have arrows for correct orientation.
