Hi all, due to the fact that my crankshaft is dead in my 2001 2.0 TS 147, I need a replacement engine.

I found a '98 2.0 TS CF2 engine, is this a straight swap, as i only need the block and the head ? The ECU and all the manifolds, injectors, auxiliaries(alternator, starter) can be moved from the CF3 engine as they are OK.

What would be the issues with this swap ?

Do you know what car the replacement is coming off? Depending on what it is there may be more or less to change.

It's coming off a 156. So will I not have issues with the emission control and stuff (given that I'll keep everything from the CF3 engine except the block and head) ?

what about the cf2/cf3 exhaust manifolds? are they an exact fit ?
