engine removal

Hi I need to remove the engine from my gtv do i need to remove the gearbox first or can i get it out all in one :thumbs:

Is it a V6?
I just took mine out and it was a bugger for clearance.

There are two gear shift cables going to the transmission - both connected to the gearbox by little ball joints that popped off with a lever. Not pins with clips as shown in the workshop manual.
