Hi there,

Just got my new (1996) Spider. Drove her from the port to the garage without big problems (do not count engine died four times when starting from traffic lights)...Now in garage cannot move it. Start the engine, push accelerator just a bit and engine died
My bet she is running reach and overflowing with the gas. Also injectors light is on all the time. Any suggestions? Where I can get new injectors/how much?

Thanks,

Not likely to be an injector fault in my opinion. Check for splits in the air intake in between the throttle body and the air mass meter.

Oh and it is also worth plugging in and getting the diagnostics read - that injector light will be related to a stored fault code, which should give some idea as to what is wrong.

Oxygen sensors (lamba's) will need replacing if she's running rich, they need replacing every 60,000 miles, If they are covered in carbon deposits that won't help your fuel economeny either. If it hasn't been serviced for a while, that will need doing asap.Welcome by the way. Canada is a beautiful country.
