Hi everyone , i'm new here on the forum , i bought a 2nd hand alfa 147 1.6 03 after a kind fiat siena , the same old story of the 1st owner lost the owners manual , so i wonder if there is a way i could start my car if my key loses code by pressing the throttle and counting the injection lamp till it reaches the 1st digit of the code ,,,,had this method worked with my old Siena ,,,thanks in advance

I reckon it can be done as the code system is similar.

You will need the code card with the number on it though, otherwise you are stuck.

There should be a card inside the handbook pack that comes with the car.

It's about the size of a credit card.

If you havewn't got it you will need to contact Fiat/Alfa and they should be able to obtain it for you.
