I’ve been looking for a wifi interface for the 156. Plenty of modified elm237 cables about but all seem to be usb and as mac is not supported by multiscan yet I have to use the IOS version on my phone. Does anyone know of a modied wifi elm237 interface? The OBDlink LX and MX at £60ish also need modifying with only CANtieCAR not needing work but at £240 seems silly when the elm is £10. Any help greatly appreciated

Does it have to be WiFi or would Bluetooth be ok?
Carista OBD2 also works for EOBD is a Bluetooth adapter which can be bought on Amazon. If it is for an older laptop, why not get a Bluetooth dongle for the Carista adapter?

Maybe I missed the whole point. Perhaps you need the multiplexing function but it seems to do that for VAG cars. Check the specs yourself.

Nah it has to be wifi. Multiscan only links to the three I’ve mentioned via wifi and isn’t available for mac software, only IOS. Don’t have an old windows laptop.
