My drive pulley has come loose destroying the ancillary belt. I looked in the engine bay to discover that the pulley runs through a small casting to a circular gubbins at the rear of this casting. All the parts that used to be attatched to the rear of the pulley shaft were dropped into the rear of the engine bay. Does any one know what this arrangement should look like, and what it does?

my mistake, I meant to type "driven Pulley" If you look at your engine from the ancillary side it is the top left pulley on the ancillary circuit.

Yes thank you, I have since been given a layout drawing showing the pullley possitions, and they're purpose. It would appear that I need a new PAS pump
