Hi all

Does anyone know if the DPF on a 2.4JTD is plug and play? I need to do the switch to a newer one and was planning to do it myself if it is.:thumbup:

Yes, makes sure all the sensors are correctly plugged in. Probably worth disconnecting the battery whilst you do it. Also make sure the new DpF is clean,

I would imagine you would need to tell the engine ECU you have fitted a new clean DPF otherwise the readings would be out.

thanks for the replies. I would have thought that the car would automatically learn that there is a new DPF in place? I'll give it a go and report back

no it doesn't.

in fact, I would first try telling it you ahd the dpf replaced, before actually doing it. that is, if the old one still works but the regens are happening too soon.
