Has anyone removed a 155 door?

I've got the bolts out but there seems to be a pin in both hinges. How does it come out?

Am I missing something? Got a chap coming to fetch them tonight so help needed please :(

Wrinx, they're tapered pins, you have to
lift the door to remove them after you've
loosened the hinge screws.
Before all this though remove the pin
from the door check strap using a puller
and take out the cables from the door
pillar.

Hope this helps :)

They may be taper pins but as there is one going in from the top and the bottom its not possible to remove the door.

Pretty sure you need to remove the hinges first...which is what I've done (had to trash the front wing to get at the front ones!!!)

Tried putting the bolt back in a little and whacking it also did it with a pin punch, no luck.

Tony, I read the same bit of the manual but it doesn't seem to be that easy, perhaps its just for the earlier cars???? (Or I made a pigs of it!)

It should be the same set-up throughout
the whole of the 155 range.
Take a look at your parts cd, it has a
breakdown of the hinge, still not a whole
lot clearer though

Yeah, parts CD look right, using the top hinge (part 3) for the following..........

14 and 5 go into the top part on either side as shown, the whole lot is bolted together with 13. Gawd knows what 15 is for!!! There is a washer on top but its seems to be attached.

Remove 13 and its still solid as part of 5 (below the little flange( is located into the bottom hinge.

As the hinges mirro each other on the door its not possible to lift the door off as you are fighting against the other hinge.

Hope this all makes sense....someone please look and tell me I'm not talking crap.

When off, the lower part of the hinge more or less drops off!!

Chatting to JB earlier and he reckons they should come off dead easy, can someone tell us next time they remove a door as I've got the twinny to do soon and don't fancy removing the wing to get at the front door hinge
