Went through the car wash and my front drivers door is leaking water. Looking along the roof line, the top of the door frame is 3-4 mm outboard and not in line with the rear door. Doors were removed recently when a lot of welding was done. (Seal is fine!) I could take it back to the welders but that means taking (more) time off work.
Does anybody have any guide to setting the front door correctly please? Any tips and techniques?
Thanks

The doors on the 156 have shims at the hinges where they attach to the car body, it is hard work! I attempted to adjust my hinges, but I could not get my torx keys into the limited space between the front wing and where the hinges are attached to the car! I needed to adjust the door after I replaced it. It's a pain, and in the end, I got the bodyshop to do it when they resprayed the door to match the car.

Looking on YouToob there's a video of a guy pulling the top of the frame into shape - just using brute force. Going to give that a go - lol
