The title of my post is a quote from another forum member in another post and sadly I learned this the hard way. I had some bird ****e that left a mark. Had some T-cut around that I'd never used and gave it a try. Should have consulted with the forum first :(. So now with a patch more than likely has no lacquer. You can see the spot is dull. What would be the recommendation to sort this?

I doubt you've removed all the laquer by hand, you need to properly clean the area first with some sort of fallout remover like iron x or iron out then clay the paint then polish the mark out.

If you don't use a fallout remover their will be dirt 'in' the paint which you will just rub in leaving a dull area.

In future wax or seal your paint poo just washes off leaves no mark.

I've used it many times without taking the clear off and, as Olly says, you won't have taken it off by hand unless you were at it for an hour.

Go over it with whatever polish you normally use and see how it looks.
