I have been thinking for sometime what the rear of my GTV would look like with a black diffuser. After all the rear valance/bumper has the shape of one. So after following a 405 Coupe home the other day which had a black diffuser, I thought 'what the hell' do it!

Now play nice...:tut:

Whether you think it looks good or not, I've had the balls to do it, and now can't change what I have done...........

Your thoughts?

Mine being a ph1 has a black rim around the bottom of the bumper.

Mine is also a phase 1 Andy. If you look closely you can see that its been painted red.

I used to see one on my way to work, also a red one with black vinyl stuck to make it look like a diffuser, and always thought it looked good! My whole car is black so I can't try it out!:cheese:

You could do it in red and be the negative to his postive !!

I really like that effect you've created nicklong, it's got a hint of Ferrari 360 about it with those red sides and black centre... I think

Because it looks like there is nothing there as it is black, however the number plate gives it away that it isn't a gap just black plastic,

I was in two minds before I started spraying!, but the result looks good.

Think it looks good, breaks up the rear alightly. Have a phase 1 and can't make my mind up with fully colour coded or with the black trim but yours adds a bit more shape :-D
