Evening,

Some retarded, spotty drunken one brain celled idiot decided to use my car as a trampoline at the weekend.

I now have numerous unwanted modifications to my car, including dents and scratches on the drivers wing, bonnet, windscreen (scratched), Roof and tailgate (i presume from when he dismounted the vehicle).

Now, the bonnet is a write off, wing can be knocked out, roof too according to a specialist dent man.

I love my car, and having put a new gearbox, actuator (free from Alfa!) last year, new wheels and a cambelt service just the week before the [email protected] gymnastics lesson I am not going to write it off as it's running sweet as now!!!

What i'm looking for from you guys, apart from sympathy and condolence is, recommendations of body shops in the south east that can put right the damage or respray the whole car, am thinking White... At present it's red.....

Thanks, I feel better for writing that!

Cheers!

Good evening,
I am afraid I can't offer you any technical help, but can sympathise with idiots being jealous of alfa owners. I have had my pride and joy keyed and one of my mirrors knocked off. I hope you get your car fixed.

Saw 2 drunken idiots pushing each other onto cars yesterday including my Alfa's and wifes Citroen, what do you do.
1) call the police? if they bother to turn up it will be too late
2) Go out and confront them ? could end up in a whole world of hurt.
3) Go out push mirrors back, grumbly quietly then go back indoors.

Number 3 for me only real choice I had.

Sorry to hear about your trouble, given my 3 options if I had seen what you suffered would have gone for No 2 and probably ended up in trouble with the police myself.
Does your insurance cover it?

I have vented my spleen in private on your behalf.

Why the colour change though? In my experience that tends to devalue the car, and is a whole pile of work (and expense) to do properly, behind panels, under bonnet, door shuts etc.

White is cool at the moment though.....local dealer has a white 147 in, yummy.....oh pap, starting to talk myself into it....

I too would like to offer my condolences.I actually caught a guy with one foot on my bonnet about to jump onto my car and do what happened to yours.Suffice to say I lost the plot and chased him till my legs went weak.I knew who he was and called to his house the next day where I got a sincere apology.Another reason why drinking and cars do not mix!!!

Really sorry to hear that mate.

I have had first rate (and reasonably priced) body work done at Volante:

Tel: 020 8807 0668| Unit 2, Landmark Commercial Centre, Commercial Rd, London, N18 1UB

The guy that runs it is Ciro and a really good bloke.

Good luck.

Neil
