Is there an easy way to tell which diff is fitted? I have removed the engine and box out of the car. ( Due to head gasket failure.)

Is there an easy way to tell which diff is fitted? I have removed the engine and box out of the car. ( Due to head gasket failure.)

Q2 is hollow through middle, Quaife's solid & std has a bar in the middle(see pic).
