I saw the Buzz at a motor show last year. They are massive. I must admit, I don’t get the hype at all. Looks-wise, I just see another not especially interesting van but with a really, really bad, lower grill.

Really caught me off guard this one.. a 1972 ish Alfa Giulia 1750 in maroon.. looked original unrestored condition heading through Poynton village about 4:30 today.. looked like a daily driver. not rusty just faded and used..

A GT 3.2 in the local supermarket today. Don't see them around very often these days. Looked very shiny in Alfa red.

I see more GTs than Stelvios.

Saw a new Defender today with what looked like faux factory fit chequer plate. I did not hate it.

(Ok, looks like factory-fit is plastic, you need aftermarket for actual aluminium plate.)

Come to think of it, I seen a GT 3 2 driving past Barrhead Tesco. Black and it was sometime before Xmas. I got caught up and forgot to mention it.
Re the Stelvio thing, must be a geagraphical thing. When me and Craig did our Scotland drive last spring, seen about 5 stelvios on route.
Seen no GTs and ONE 156, a sportswagon diesel. Its owner chased me down and we had a chat. 250k miles that machine had covered.

Aston Martin Vantage roadster, silver, 08 plate, roof down (it was a beautiful afternoon, if a little chilly). Going up Jeffrey Hill, Longridge, this afternoon. It overtook me as I was huffing and puffing cycling up. A lovely sound from the V8 briefly took my mind off the hard work.
Then a little later on, a silver Vauxhall VX220 bombing down the country lanes near Goosnargh.

Today's tally... from the walk to and from the pub..

Aston DBX in full ganster black. .MY72DBX as the plate in Woodford Manchester..
Two cars sat on a drive on a back country lane in Woodford.. an immaculate white 740i.. 1997 model and a dark blue 540i 1999 model.. both on same drive .. both very tidy
A Porsche Taycan Cross Tourismo.. nothing unusual about seeing one.. just surprised how much I wanted it..

Saw a guards red new 911 being followed by a Bmw 128ti down Woodford road.. nowt unusual apart from the 128ti had a copper in it... surely not.. though 5-0 stopped buying Beeee ems..

I was waiting to cross the road while out with my dog this morning and a cream coloured Series 3 Jaguar E-Type V12 Convertible drove past.
This was on the A146 Carlton bypass and it sounded gorgeous as it accelerated away from the roundabout where I was standing.

A tatty looking late 80's early 90's light metallic blue over tin rot Chevy Camper van.. type with lots of windows down the side and wolfrace type rotted alloys.... Near Urmston in Manchester at around 9:30 tonight... all looked a bit too wandering serial killer for my liking.. have to say.. i do like those vans.. this style only lighter blue and considerably more patina...

Wouldn't you always be thinking that you'd missed an opportunity to buy the A-Team van though?

An orange mark 1 Ford Escort with Cibie spotlights and classic number plates, an absolute minter, parked outside Bee Mill garage in Ribchester village this afternoon. Kicking myself for not getting a pic now, but I was all gloved and layered-up as I cycled past, and also didn't want to lose momentum.

Also saw a silver Bentley Continental saloon. The coupes seem to be very common, but hardly ever see the saloon version. I think they still look great, very elegant.

Saw an old Moggie Minor on the East Lancs (A580) on Monday morning going to work. As I passed it had a very dim looking nearside headlight and an almost LED white looking offside light.
Whilst I decided to winter use my 24 year-old Z3 this year I was surprised to see the Moggie out in the salt.

An XJS. Not that uncommon as I see quite a few locally, but this one may have been a TWR; or just an XJS with a body kit. But it was in that light blue that I associate with the TWR version. I was a few cars behind it and couldn’t quite see it well enough to be sure.
