Not only unexpected but also undesirable and ugly and only one owner (of 6) with one for sale on Autotrader has the nerve to ask over 3 grand for one even for a low mileage example !! (he'll never get £4079 for it!). Yes its the very unpopular Chrysler Delta!...spotted on Chichester bypass today....a white one like this.....what were they thinking??? Yuk!!

My neighbour has one of these in black!!! It emits the same alarm lock/unlock bleeps as my Giulietta. That's about as interesting as it gets.

Two E30 BMWs in the space of about five minutes, one being hustled round a corner with some enthusiasm. Very cool.

There was a Vitesse version with a bigger engine (2 litre straight 6?) and twin headlights
The original Vitesse was a lovely straight six 1.6 litre. Beautiful sound, powerful for its day. Had one and loved it (apart from the standard Herald swing-axle rear suspension). Later versions had a 2.0 straight six.

A 1.6 straight 6? Is that an unusual configuration?

Yep ....tiny pistons too.....I worked on one once. Google says that 1600 Six has just a 66.75mm (2.6inches) bore and a 76mm (3 inches) stroke!

This morning I was driving behind a silver Porsche all electric ESTATE car.
That was unexpected!

A nice 911 Targa (possibly an 85 or 86 model) at Tebay at the weekend, in great nick as well. The chap who owned it asked about the GTA, he'd owned countless Alfas in the past including a few 75s. He said he could forgive the GTA for being front-wheel drive too :ROFLMAO:

'C' plate white Ford Escort RS Turbo went past when out on the push bike this afternoon. Had some sort of 'sports' exhaust on it which sounded abysmal. It also reeked of petrol.
Apart from that, it was good to see one!

Is it available yet? There’s a test on Pistonheads of a Right Hand drive car..with extras “like a leather-free interior (£2,538)”

Well, I was surprised by and quite like the look of the Porsche Estate I saw so I entered the Reg (71 plate) into the Vehicle Smart app which identified it as Taycan 4S Cross Turismo, taxed and insured, fuel type - ELECTRICITY. 1st registered 24 Sep 2021.
So I guess it is available.

A C reg Honda Prelude, which I think was the third generation car. Can the year be right though? If a C is 85 or 86, that means the previous version only lasted four years. Anyway - it was a bit tatty and rather squeaky on its suspension. Nice to see though as that version had dropped out of my memory.

I thought those were pre-chrysler?

Either way, i rather like em. They arent a true Delta off course, but to me they evoke the same lancia as the Thesis, the ultra-weird looking luxury car in the same way Citroen and Renault manage from time to time, but with an italian twist. Come to think of it, the front looks rather like current Renaults....

Bye, i need to look at what spec and price these things are available in right now for a bit :p

EDIT: turns out these things have a pretty massive boot, 465 litres, that is nearly station territory, i was expecting a ~320-ish hatchback

Now i want one for my next car
