Tony is no longer at Automate! Apparently he is at Alfa and Omega, i called today to see if he was in, want to check the connections on my airfilter and other pipes, the car sounds like it's got an induction kit on haha don't think a Decat will make it sound like that?

Other than that enjoying the GT when I drive it now and again

Not going to speculate as to why is no longer there, but that is the response I got when I called...

My problem now is the sound, where can I go to get it checked out????

I thought the sound was from the airfilter or top boost pipe but its not, it sounds like its coming from the top left of the engine ( if you outside looking at it) just behind the cover

Ok saw Tony today, he is only temporarily sharing a workshop with chris, untill he finds another place.

I went to get the hoses n stuff checked out, all the clamps are on securely and theres no splits in any of the pipes, but there is definitely boost leak somewhere??? Can hear it under load, its like a wooooooshhh Any ideas?

There was a pipe that has quite a bit of play on it, even though it was connected securely, i.e could move it under and down and even left to right a little bit, not sure it if it supposed to be like that or not, going to try and check on another GT diesel.

Also reset the the Injector and injector wasnt 100% but it shap now, car seems better already.

Other than the boost issue, all seems to be ok and I'm happy with it again, once boost issue is sorted I'll prob use the GT as a daily and the GTi as a weekend car.
