Finally after nearly a year of not being able to find fault with the old 146 t spark an angel armed with a very cool bit of modern tech which can diagnose faults on older cars has come to the rescue. All the faults cleared including air bag warning light. Lamda sensor changed, crank sensor changed and finally maf sensor diagnosed. Also a loose jubalee clip which holds then main air intake hose on to the throttle, fitted correctly stopping an air leak which has been missed by every one including said alfa specialists.
