Hi there

About a year or so ago, my car's turbo blew and was replaced by my local dealer. While they were doing this a little bit of oil was spilled onto the electric window buttons on the driver's side. The buttons were initially fine but have now become stiff. They are still usable and function normally, but they are 'sticky'.

Is it safe to spray some q20 or something similair on to the buttons to loosen them up?

How did the dealer manage to spill oil on the window winder switch???? Also I doubt that spill is the cause of the problem.

Use a mild all purpose cleaner with a non-abrasive brush and microfiber tower to try to remove any gunk or chunks of oil and then see where you are at.
