Thanks for the advice, breaking for spares or selling as is seem like expensive options but who knows.Can someone tell me where the ecu is located on the GTV please.

thanks, had the glove box etc out but could not see the ecu, is it down by the inertia switch, only place i havent looked.

Yes, the engine ECU, will be behind the carpet & be silver in colour. The CODE ECU is yellow in colour and lives beside the steering column.
