My 1989 164 auto was in virtually mint visual condition untill a dog jumped in front of it. If anyone can help i need an offside indicator and front bumper.I can arrange collection and pay cash or paypal etc.Im away a couple of days but kindly message me or text 07935326373.According to howmanyleft.com mine is only 1 of 11 164,3.0 autos on the road

Ouch! Sorry to hear about that!

I can probably help anyway. Did your front bumper have headlamp washers? I've got a grey front bumper WITHOUT headlamp washers on my breaker, that you'd be welcome to. Collection might be a bit tricky, I'm probably about as far from Sussex as you could possibly get, without visiting Pomeo's country! It's in generally good condition, but the rubber lip round the bottom is coming away in places. I'm sure I've got an indicator too - but it's likely to be a bit green and scummy round the seal between the housing and the lens, (which they all seem to do, eventually).

Sadly the dog ran across the road into the car and met its demise, i wasnt driving the car at the time as i let a friend use it whilst i fixed his 147.Its only a car and it could have been worse plenty of people have swerved to miss dogs with terrible results. As the car is only "slightly" damaged i will get in touch re spares.:thumbs:Since owning the car ive not seen another 164 on the roads of Sussex nor elsewhere on my travels. Apparently there are only 11 12v 3.0 litre 164 autos on our roads and only about 300 164s overall being used on uk roads. Im keen to keep it cos in 5-10 years it will be quite rare albeit not valuable,but the howl it makes holding it in higher revs is priceless!

Good luck! while we're at it, I'm looking for a headlight (RH) rear cover - the small oblong plastic one with seal on it. Must have got loose, dropped off and I ran over it..
