n the summer of 2015 Nick thrashing the pants of his 33 did something the the engine making it sound like a tractor with now power and ending up in me towing him home. So we dropped in a spare we had and put the other in the back of the garage.

Any way I have decided to look at it. Stripped it all down ready to take the cylinder heads off but they will not budge. Tried wood drifts rubber mallets but no joy. I need them off as I suspect the the bearings in the crank / con rods need attention. Any ideas? :headache:

I understand I can check the bearings by taking sump off and I will do that but I would also like to check the pistons etc.

Help

Try spraying the head gasket area liberally with WD40 and hopefully that will soak through then attack it with the wood and hammers again.
