Hi

My 159 has been going well (especially now DMF & clutch replaced!) but have a problem with the cruise control, basically it keeps turning itself off after about a minute or so, turn it off at the stalk, turn it on again and it will work but only for a little bit, is this just Italian electrics or does anyone know of this issue and a fix ?

Many thanks

It could be the stalk or brake or clutch switches.

Mine does similar (and it's not the switches on the pedals) as it physically turns itself off (the light goes out and it says cruise control turning off on the dash) rather than disengages.

This happens randomly to me. I can go hours with it being fine and then suddenly it goes and other times it can happen very early in a trip or not at all.

Turning on and off on the stalk does nothing. But if I turn the car on and off normal service is resumed.

It's a bit of a pain when on a long motorway drive.
