My genuine one says "Bosch Germany" on it...
i have measured both the old one reads 88 ohms and the new one is 90 ohms i have tried them both in the car twice now and the old one starts first time but the new one fails to start
Why are you convinced it's the crank sensor that's the problem ?hi here's my problem my crank shaft sensor failed on friday just kept cutting out when the car got warm and had to wait 20 mins b4 it would start anyway i get the new sensor fitted it car wouldnt start so swapped back to the old one and stars straight away but cuts out when gets warm do i have to do anything with alfa diag it should just start right
well judging by the symptoms all seem to be pointing towards the crank shaft sensor cuts out when the car gets to operating temp then have to wait 20 mins for it to cool down then starts again and runs well but then cuts out when it gets warm again this is a fully recond engine but the sensors where off my old one. find out today just off to pick up a new sensor
so now just to try and get my money back off the internet company who said they need to send it to italy to have it tested think i have just proved the point there it is its f##k#d but can now say i can change one of these over in less than 30 mins its been on an off that many times now:lol:
oh i have but prob fell on deaf ears that will teach me for getting it off the internet but i spoke to the guy on the phone and he said it was a genuine part thats why i bought it
we will see what happens just hope i get some decent miles out of this car now b4 something else goes wrong just gota find this little oil leak now from the gear box side its not much but very antisocial when parking up leaves a little spot been banned from parking on the drive by her indoors :lol:
