Perhaps a question for the dealer before the Warranty runs out.
A tear in that position would suggest a tension force only on the underside. That would suggest either the outer end of the system has been forced upwards or the centre pulled down. Neither scenario suggests accidental damage unless you have driven on some very rough roads. I imagine that is unlikely given the general condition of the underside which looks immaculate for a two year old car.
