You should get in OK Jimmy - drop them an email to find out - not sure you can just turn up as numbers are limited - it'd be great to finally see your Spider (and yourself)

I'm gutted that I won't make it. My UK car has had a problem with the auto box and has been with the specialist gearbox place for about seven weeks now. They have got the box back together but it needs a new kickdown cable which they are having to get made by Speedy Cables. I have used Speedy Cables before and they are anything but speedy so I dont expect the car back in time for this weekend :depressed:

I'm instead going to do the local Essex branch treasure hunt in the wifes MX5

The advice on the Cotswold newsletter is:

"It’s not too late to join us! However, by the time you read this, you may be too late to post an application to John Mills and also receive the tickets in the post before Sunday.
 If you want to do the Giro Panoramico – you can still do so. Come to The Bell between 9.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m., complete a form and pay John Mills on the day (£5.50 adult and £4.00 child aged 5-12 years). This covers costs of your Giro Route, Giro Sticker and refreshments. You will also be given a CAD ENTRY PASS for discounted entry to Ragley Hall. You pay Ragley on entry.
 If you had planned to go direct to Ragley, we will NOT be giving out CAD ENTRY PASSES at Ragley – so if you want discounted entry – and can come to The Bell between 9.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. John will issue you with a CAD ENTRY PASS for discounted entry to Ragley Hall (£10.00 per car). Ragley Hall is approximately 14 miles from The Bell going direct via Stratford on Avon."

The Bell is in Alderminster.

Shame you can't make it Nick. Hope you get the car sorted. Are you planning to go to any other events?

When I do get to the next Alfa gig I will be sure to chain the diff. to the car :paranoid:

. I hope so, Tom. I called the garage yesterday and maybe Speedy Cables had read my post because the garage had got the cable that morning . They may have the car ready for this weekend . I will try to get to national Alfa day at least.
