Hi All

As in previous years the AROC Cotswold section would like to extend an invitation to all AO users to Cotswold Alfa Day which is being held on Sunday 26th June 2011.

Booking is essential, there is no entry on the day.

The event is in two sections; a drive in the morning and/or just turn up at our finishing venue for a picnic and a visit to a stateley home.

Giro Panoramico (the driving bit) will be starting from The Frogmill Inn, close to the junction of the A40 and the A346 near Andoversford (GL54 4HT), between 10am and 11am. Here complimentary tea or coffee will be served; you can collect your Giro Panoramico route plan and window sticker. The route will finish at Buscot Park the home of Lord Faringdon between Lechlade and Faringdon, in Oxfordshire, (SN7 8BU).

We aim to provide model parking and there will be the opportunity to enjoy a picnic and visit either the grounds, house or both. The house and grounds do not open until 2pm.

Thanks to our sponsors; AROC Ltd, Bristol St Alfa Romeo - Worcester, RetroMarques Ltd and Mitchell Dismantling there is no cost associated with Giro Panoromico.

Entry prices for Buscot Park, payable on the day at the venue; House & Grounds £8.00 / Grounds only £5.00 / Children half price / NT members Free.

Please note if you are intending to go straight to Buscot Park the entrance to the parking area will not be open before 12:30 pm.

This year due to a change in club insurance rules we have to have a completed application form for all vehicles attending. Download your Application Form from the AROC Cotswolds website http://www.aroc-uk.com/cotswolds and send it to the address on the form to get your tickets.

Hope to see you on the day

Cheers

Just a little update to say that tickets are going out every day now, so things are ticking along nicely. Many returning punters, but good to see some new names in there as well. Some interesting cars booked in too, so should be a great day hopefully!!

UPDATE: Numbers are matching previous years - if strong in the run up to the event we'll be up!! There's a possibility of a very interesting Alfa indeed! If it attends, it might struggle to do the route - can't say more than that, any guesses? And no, it's not the half-track! Although there's always 2012.........

Cotswold Alfa Day attendance is running up on previous years by 20%!!

If you fancy making a last minute decision to come, fine, we will be bringing some spare paperwork with us on the day, so just ask for a form on arrival.
