Does anyone have a rough idea how much it costs to get water pump, timing belt and tensioners replaced a 159? It's a 1.8 petrol engine.

Am looking at buying one but may need to factor in that cost.

Thanks!

Cheers - calling TI was a good idea. The guy I spoke to was super-helpful. He said it would come in at around €300 plus VAT.

He also said that, despite rumours to the contrary, if the water pump failed it wouldn't take out the timing belt on the 1.8 engine as they're not connected.

The lads in TI are sound. Very helpful and unlike a lot of garages they will actually try to save you money where possible. (and their work is top notch)
