I have accumulated 5 speed fines in the last 3 months.

I am certain that the uniformed children of Satan is targeting me.

Does anybody else have this problem? What do I do about it?

Ps, the Devils cousin, a guy named Aarto seems to assist him in making my life miserable.

Slow down a bit?

Do the cops over in SA still use those two black wires across the road for speed traps, or have they progressed to radar guns? I know when I left back in '94, they weren't going to use radar guns because they believed it gave the user cancer or something, lol. Anyway, good to see so many South Africans on here, howzit over there?

they used laser guns for long and now the radars are coming into play, sorry to hear about the fines corrie, ive had the opposite luck, i ignore the few fines i get and they just get dropped against me. or like on the nelspruit weekend away i was speeding most of the time and was sure i got flashed but alas no fin :) hope your luck improves! :)

My tip: Go very slow on the safe, open roads and let all hell break loose on the unsafe roads where you will never see a spietkop of any sort. Just watch out for potholes, dogs, children, pedestrians and learner drivers.

My car came fitted with something that makes a noise when I approach grown men hiding behind bushes with cameras in their hands. I don't know what it does but I've never received a fine with the black car on it... However, my grey 156 also seems to be in stealth mode! I get about 30% of fines due to me, the rest don't seem to register even when i pass the cops and see him grinning at me while shaking his finger!

About the two lines accross the road: It's still the most undetectable form of trapping (on the freeway), and the most accurate...

If done correctly and laid 100%....
if they don't and you can dispute it in court, plus, did you know locking your wheel JUST before the trap DRAGS the lines and pulls the camera over :tut: breaking government equipment is bad though, just cracked a few lenses though :cheese::cheese::cheese:

We don't have Aarto in the Western Cape yet... Was supposed to come into effect in 1 April 2011 but that was an April Fool joke, so since then it's still not in effect and therefore not legal. The traffic officials are a bit sharper than the guys in khaki in Gauteng: They saw the problems and delayed the aarto fining system and we still therefore get fined in the old way and therefore still have to pay our fines...
