Just noticed theres a connector under the rubber mat in the center console bit next to the handbrake, can anyone tell me what this is? Cheers :thumbs:

What's it look like? How many wires? - it could be the telemute cable for handsfree kits - that's where they are on 159's

I found one in mine last month ,


along with a spare connector behind the stereo unit too , that ones a greeny colour and completely different to the stereo connectors.

Just 2 pin connector was hoping it might be the aux input

I would be highly surprised if it was the aux in. How about sport button? Or one of the buttons that would go just behind the gear stick, in front of the coin holder?

I couldn't find the telemute connector in mine - went all the way back to the main wiring harness by the fuel cut off switch too. Perhaps my blackline is too low spec!

I believe The sport button is by the handbrake on the cloverleaf versions - does that mean it would work if a button was connected?

I suppose you could give it a go but I would imagine that it might need activating in the ecu.
