Problem resolved , by reading article on OEM fitting instructions.
Connection issue
I have removed a D din unit (jvc) out of my GT 54 plate to fit an 08 GT and nothing happens ie not coming on at all. Does the newer Gt ‘s work a different set up in wiring .
When I read all the help in setting up I beginning to think there is no ign wire on later GT’s
Does anyone know where I am going wrong . The older car has a Connects 2 unit which operates the controls on the Steering wheel but not essential as the unit fires up without it . So thinking , like for like , it shouldn’t be an issue.
ie :Older Gt first picture , has blue wire in iso.Later 08 car is blank.
Correction that’s thumbnail is 08 Gt!
