Im a fresh owner of a 2002 Alfa 147, 1.9jtd, just bought it four days ago and got my licence plates today.
Just after i went to my local Alfa dealer to buy a keychain
i started it up and my connect started rebooting. Its not unlike any other cases people had with it resetting, but those threads are a bit old-ish so i was wondering if anyone knows a fresh solution to the problem.
To summarise:
-lcd displays Alfa logo,
-the "Trip" screen blinks for a second (enough to see that it -works- i.e. display actual fuel consumption, correct time etc)
-black screen
-repat
It stays on for a few minutes after i turn the engine off. I've tried removing teh battery for 45 mins, didnt help, i tried removing the F39 fuse (btw, that also disables the window openers and current outdoor temperature isnt displayed anymore), didnt help.
We connected the car to the computer diagnostics, no errors found.
We tried talking to the locar alfa dealer, and a greasy 20 year old that works in the workshop, after pushing a few buttons concluded "The problem must be inside".
So yeah, im completely clueless, and the only thing i can do is stick a black paper over the display to at least not get irritated by constant alfa logo flashing.
Any ideas...please...anyone?
