driving to work this morning, i noticed day and date to be 'thur 4th jan' on the info screen in my 156 gta.

strange, as it's wed 4th jan, and the car knows it's 2012...

i can adjust the date, but not the actual day displayed.

anyone else noticed this?

Tis because its a leap year...

A workaround is setting the year to 2006 or 2017

No - my GTA is fine and I've not changed the year - drove it today for the first time this year!
Do you have the later type info centre? (along with your later type split door cards :p)

lol - Hi Dan

No the screen is the same as all GTA's however the software is upgraded, you also forgot the subtle change in dash texture between early and late GTA's and also the full 3rd rear seat belt ;)

I had this on my first GTA, and noticed it on the 1st Jan 2004 - went to Alfa and they said they would find out about it - after Feb 29th that year they said the fix would have been to set it to 2006 and were looking at a change in the software to fix the bug...

When I got the second GTA - I notcied it was fixed in 2008
