My door mirrors are looking quite shabby as the black coating is coming off the aluminium triangular 'fixing brackets'. I plan to have these sand blasted and recoated but this will leave the mirror surrounds looking rather dull and grey in comparison. Has anyone ever had there door mirrors colour coded? Was it a success?

Alfa started doing it as standard from 2002 so shouldn't be too hard. Why not try a Smart repairer, there's one in the local paper!! I'm going to be giving him a call, when I've saved a few more pennies. Just ordered over £100 on suspension bits today.

No a Smart repairer. They don't stone chips, scratches and dents at your home or work. Ones I've seen are really good, an dmuch cheaper than a body shop. Look in the Advertiser, there's one in there.

I think colour coded rear mirros look very nice. If you can, do it. :)
