Hi can anybody tell me what this is i found it on a my ecu as an error code
P1654 Recirculation Override Circuit Malfunction where do i look or how do i repair it

it also said this
Anomaly on the control solenoid valve circuit for the inlet system with variable length manifolds (V.I.S.). Check the solenoid valve efficiency, the correct positive supply and the circuit of the solenoid valve to the ECU.
The reason for this fault is that ECU did not receive signal from the sensor. The fault is present now. Take appropriate action to fix this sensor fault. Dashboard warning light was not activated for this fault.
Thanks all

The solenoid, I think, is the round black plastic part on the right of the engine at the back near the steering pump (assuming the 2.0 in your GTV is a TwinSpark and the steering pump is in the same place).

There is also a solenoid for the variator between the two left most injectors ... there's a pic of that on my greenserpent web site if you click on "Under the bonnet" (link below in my signature area)

But if I'm way off, I think someone else will correct me.
