narlo there is a repair kit available from Alfa (Part Number 9950091) at about £15. I have the 16 valve clutch section already loaded on my webspace but if you need the other section for the earlier cars let me know and I'll put that on aswell :D :D :D

Yes.

New clutch slave cylinder is about 25 squid for a non-genuine part. Its quite easy to do too.

Keep it on the edge mate.

dont bother with the repair kit, you will probably find that the bore or the cylinder is corroded so the seals wont last long. If you have the 8v the non genuine part is about £15 if you have the 16v I think they are about £40. It is very easy to change. You need to remove the battery and the battery tray first then it is a doddle

Cheers guys, £23.95+vat complete ;) .had a quote of£60+ for that I'D expect a page 3 girl 2 come round & fit it 4 me :D
Me babby did try 2 warn me last wk (I was'nt listening  ) brake level light came on (thought me pads were getting low) then later clutch peddle got stuck 1/2 way once.
The trick with the removable batery tray is inspired, got me thinking on those front heavy v6's how's about removing battery & sticking it in the boot like they used 2 do on the mk2escorts ;)
..............narlo..................
