Hi

Have just had my new clutch fitted, but started to crunch into 3rd does this sound normal. Or do i need to take it back?

Any advice would be great

Certainly not normal, but sounds more like a gearbox problem than a clutch problem to me.

Sounds like the clutch isn't disengaging correctly, so I think you should take it back.

Does it bite really close to the floor?


It might be that they have fitted something wrongly, or that the slave cylinder needs bleeding.

I got a new clutch kit and a slave cylinder he fitted the clutch but said the cylinder that i got was faulty so I'm sending it back and when i get the new one i have to take it back to get fitted.

Thanx for all your help.

It's been really good to get back in the car after 2 weeks off the road:)
