I know I read about this but cannot locate the exact post. My 3 week old Giulietta is simply amazing but this week I started experiencing a 'small' problem. Every time I remove my foot from the clutch I am hearing some squeaky noises coming from the clutch pedal. 1st gear was always a bit hard but I assume that this is something very normal. Has anyone experienced the same problem?

sorry to hear that, if it makes you feel any better every time I remove my foot from the clutch I either get pushed back into my seat from acceleration or have my eyeballs come out of my sockets from braking.

Probably needs grease on the pedal... doesn't sound terminal ;)
Agreed, I used white lithium grease on the squeeky clutch assembly on my 166, hasnt squeeked since. If you do use it though put something down to protect the carpet.

Thank you guys. I hope it's just a matter of grease and not something more serious which would lead to gear box problems.
