Hoping you lot can help.
I gave my 20v a full front end rebuild inc;
Flywheel, clutch, Slave cylinder, driveshafts, all wishbones and anti roll bar bushes.
All good now except....I now have an annoying clunk/knock in the suspension/drivetrain on the passenger side.
It manifests itself when you break sharply and then again if you reverse and break.
It's like something is moving but I've been over and tightened everything.
Arrrrgghhhh!!!!

Oooo...that could be it.
That's the one thing I've not checked.
I'll have a look in the morning and report back.

Well, I'm at a loss.
The Driveshaft only has the one large Nut bolting it to the Hub and it's tight.
There's no movement in the Brakes either.
:confused:

After a lot more investigation I'm fairly sure it's the top suspension arm.
I just couldn't get my head around it being worn already....it's only done about 4000mls!
Having said that though, I live in West Cork, Ireland and my road is absolutely shocking!

Did you also do the droplinks? Not unusual for them to loosen up if not tight enough.

When I had this on one of my 156's it was a dodgy bush. The rear one on the lower arms.

Also have you checked the engine and transmission mounts are tight?
