Bazza my old friend..long time no see..
the 75 diff is a plate differential..one set up primarily for road use with something like a 40% slip. These diffs can be uprated by adding cluth plates and ramp angles. The diff and box are realy only good for 300 horses..any more and u need to think about proper gear kits etc..
Best way to get 350 eh?? hmmm my mate had a full hit 3.5 12v..cams throttle bodies and the biggest valves possible..and its 300 at the wheels..and it cost 14K !!!
For a 12v to kick 350 ud need either to go 3.8 (100mm pistons/liners and a GTA crank and rods) with lots of work..£££
or
24v with less work but still a fair bit of £££
or supercharger kit from the states at about £1800---gives 300 gggs on a near enough stock 3 litre..
orrrrr turbo...u can get 450+ but ull end up with a Getrag or ZF gearbox and a rear diff...
Talk to Aidie at AHmotorsports..he did the 3.5 for my mate and a 3.8 race car with 400 gg's...
My 75 is havin a 24v next week...then throttle boddies...all for the road lol

ahhhh appologies..it was indeed another Bazza I used to know..
My 24v convo is basically a 45k milage transplant..got the engine cheep..£500..and a 75 specialist EMC racing in Surrey are dropping the motor in, fabing up exhaust downpipes and getting it running for me.
The std 24v with a streight through exhaust and a proper air filter should be good for 200 at the wheels.
Later Ill get the programable ECU done by AHmotorsport and when pennies allow get throttle boddies later.. Check AHmotorsport web site out for an idea of prices

I got same size on my 75 and they go underneath std arches.. They are completely the wrong ofset for the imsa arches. The overall track of the car is increased by about 8 or 10 inches so to fill those arches ud need wheels with a large outward offset and probably split rims at that.
Dont know what the kit will cost yet but it wont be cheep because it would have front n rear bumpers, front wings, sills, rear door skins and rear quarter pannel arches..

This thread is fascinating, I can't decide what is making it most difficult to understand for me. Is it the fact that I know nothing about lsds? Or is it dat dis txtspk is cmpltly impssibl 2 d-sifr? ;)

Out of interest though, does typing 'da' instead of 'the' actually reduce the amount of calories you have to take in per day, because of the extreme reduction in effort?
