NineOneSix was kind enough to give me a complete set of second hand spark plugs for my TS, he did tell me how to clean them but I've completely forgotten what he said.

They look in good condition, but oily (thick black) and covered in bits of fluff (prob from the cardboard box they were in).

Best way to clean them without damaging them?

I have some carb cleaner, can I use that? (Cleaning throttle body is job #2 for today!)

Cheers,
Chris

Opinions? Should I clean more? This is with the ex-wife's toothbrush (yes really) and wynn's carb cleaner. I scrubbed quite a bit but didnt want to break em :)

That rusty one worries me.. I'm thinking of taking the best one out of mine and replacing that.. or is that ok just looks naff?

Oh and as I had some wynn's now I cleaned my throttle body.

Only hiccup was when it wouldnt close properly after :) throttle cable had become caught on the corner of the cable guide. Was black behind the butterfly valve (?) but couldnt hold camera, hold it open and take a pic :)
