we have ultrasonic cleaning tanks here at work... so how easy is it to get the fuel injectors out ??, and is Isopropanol the right stuff to clean them with ?, ideas anyone

After unplugging the injectors I think they just pull out. They'll probably be very tight though.
I would use IPA with 10% Xylene in it. The xylene will attack any really greasy deposits much better (but you'll probably know that).
Injector cleaners are normally 10% xylene/90% parraffin.
I would be worried about the sonic bath cracking the injectors if they have become brittle or something.
Let me know how it goes....I too have sonic baths and access to all sorts of nice smelling solvents !!!

IPA? Im sure I used to drink that when I was a student.

you need to unplug all four and also remove the fuel rail.then they just pull out,,,putting them back is another story.

IPA.....Iso propyl alcohol
or Isopropanol :D
BTW, you used to drink Pale Ale ???? Aaaargh, another one who's gonna buy a Porsche Boxster wink
