Dealer only, won't be cheap though...
Phone around. Some autolocksmiths can now do these.

FULLY FUNCTIONAL Code2 keys...?
FULLY FUNCTIONAL Code2 keys...?
Yes, fully functional.
We cant do the ID48 pre-coded chip yet, but a few can.
It's xmas and the mrs wont let me buy anymore toys for a while.
I'm saving up my pocket money, but dont tell her.

We can clone or programe most vehicle keys either across the counter in the shop or by plugging into the vehicle, but
these id48 chips have been a pain for us. Now there is a solution.
Unfortunatly the equipment and knowledge needed comes to a few bob.
Including the remote?
Am sure someone tried them recently for either a 147 or 156 & they couldn't do it...
not true for dealer only.

I know a top notch indie around my parts that claims he can do the keys if you have the correct code cards etc needed to do it. We did sit and play with his software when I had the GTA, very expensive kit but looked up to the job.

Will be dealer only for the most part as it is unlikely many indies will have spent that kind of money on such setups.

Most good indies have the "Examiner" now, which is the kit needed to do it.
The key itself will still end up being ordered via a main dealer though.
I think the DEC Superscan can do it two.
Some indies have both.

that's what is used here Alfa Romeo key programming
that's what is used here ...
But that kit can't make a key, it only configures the car to accept it.
